Every family, donor and funder should be able to use this site, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, or a very small screen. This page says what we have tested, what we have not, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.

What we tested
Every page · 12 September 2026Colour contrast
Every piece of text on every page, measured by script against the 4.5:1 ratio for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
Text alternatives
Every photograph has a written description of what it shows.
Small screens
No sideways scrolling and no clipped text at widths from 390 to 1440 pixels.
Controls say what they do
Program filters and donation choices are real buttons that announce whether they are selected.
Links go somewhere
Every link to another page of this site, and every downloadable document, was followed and found.
Documents
The PDFs are tagged and declare their language. Nobody has yet checked their reading order by hand.
Screen readers
No one has yet used the site from start to finish with VoiceOver, NVDA or JAWS.
Keyboard only
A complete walk through every page without a mouse has not been done.
Known issues
Small labels on wide screens
Some small links, such as “Enrol”, are less than 24 pixels tall on a desktop screen. They are spaced well apart, and on phones they are larger.
Nothing on this site sends
This is a demonstration. Donation choices only prepare an email, and no form stores anything you type.
